Deck level plan shows Lord's Lair Suite aft and Interior Dining Saloon in color. Navigation/captains cabin forward in black and white sleeps 3 in one king size and one single below. Front deck cabin sleeps 1.

Lord's Lair Suite with en-suite bathroom spans the width of the yacht astern. Built in American pine, accented with brass fixtures and mirrors. The 2mx2m bed is constructed on a hydraulically controlled gimbaled frame with 2 orthopedic mattresses. There are curtained panoramic windows with 6 opening ports, a bar with wine rack and a mini-frige. Entertainment includes, a large TV, DVD, Video and surround sound stereo. The bathroom has a 90cm shower stall, household dual flush toilet and a cream onyx sink counter, brass fixtures and large mirror.

The Dining saloon has large opening Lexon windows and varnished parkette floor. The Galapagos Cedar table seats up to 8. Accented by glass souvenir case, varnished wood mosaic art, sea shell arrangement and an open fire place. Chest freezers along starboard wall made subtle with varnished teak tops.

GALLEY-The well ventilated galley hosts a large Stainless steel work area with double stainless steel sink. The large 4 burner oven sits below a dual convection/microwave oven with exhaust fan. There are additionally, medium and small toaster ovens, 2 pop up toasters, waffle/sandwich iron, rotisserie grills, food pros, juicers, blenders, electric grills, woks and crockpots, pressure cookers and more. Lots of cabinet storage and easy maintenance Formica coverings.

NAVIGATION/CAPTAINS ROOM-The pilot house holds the interior bronze helm, compass, 1 GPS, SSB, VHF, 2 satellite communications stations with separate computers, weather fax, charts, flags, auto-pilot, and a queen sized bed. The captain has 180 degree view forward and can thus keep track at all times of the passages and steering by crew stationed at the primary helm, top deck.

Centralised Don Juan Suite with en-suite bathroom has a canopied king size bed, teak floor and bar with mini-frige, TV with DVD & VHS, stereo, vanity and chair and Cruisair individually controlled Air conditioning. Decor includes rare works of art from Pitcairn, antique lamps and paintings, collector swords and a 1" cannon. The bathroom is tiled in indigo and white with a 1msq shower, toilet and porcelain sink.

Next forward is Le Petit Chateau with a raised double bed & en-suite bathroom. Below the bed is a large storage area, desk area and swivel chair. Mirrored tiles adorn one wall. There is a mini-frige, stereo and Cruisair air-conditioning.

Top Deck Plan shows stern lounge area and Al Fresco Dining for up to 8 and Primary helm

2 Lounge chairs and stretching space make a nice spot astern.  Alongside the mizzen boom, rest the Boston Whaler to starboard and the 13' classic sailing dinghy to port. Teak deck here. Forward of the mizzen mast begins a varnished teak floor under cover of the aluminum roof. Here is an oval teak table seating 6-8 and cushioned side benches that store 10 propane tanks. Here also, is the primary helm and electronics station. There is a compass, 2 radars, 2 GPS, 1 sonar, 1 deep sounder, SSB receiver, binoculars, wind indicator, 2 hand-held spotlights in addition to 2 mechanical spotlights mounted on the pilot house roof. The aluminum roof now hosts 10 solar panels.
The Independence is extremely stable under sail.
